What Is Dry needling?

Dry needling is a technique using acupucture needles to target myofascial trigger points. Trigger points are knots or tight bands of muscle fibres. These trigger points can become painful, limit mobility and cobtribute to various musculoskeletal conditions.

Dry needling Treatment

Treatment consits of inserting acupuncture needles into a trigger point. Typically there will be a muscle twitch and an achy sensation will be felt. After treatment patients will often notice a release of the trigger point. We will normally utilise dry needling alongside other therapies as dry needling is great tool but combining it with other tecniques will often significantly improve results.
